Medium sudoku
Pick a digit and tap the squares where it goes. With “Notes”, it's noted small; tap again to cross it out, and again to remove it. With a keyboard: arrows to move, digits to write, N for notes.
Medium sudoku gives you 30 to 34 digits and asks for one more step: crossing a box with a row or a column, and finding pairs of squares that share two numbers. Notes help a lot.
How to play sudoku
Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3×3 box has the numbers 1 to 9, with no repeats. The digits already given don't move. Every sudoku has exactly one solution.
The levels
Very easy: almost full, for learning. Easy: a little emptier. Medium: you cross boxes with rows and columns and find pairs. Hard: they need techniques like the X-Wing or the XY-Wing. Expert: only the digits needed, and they need chains.
The hint
The hint doesn't just hand you the number: it shows you the next step and why, from “the 7 only fits here” to an X-Wing, and marks the squares that matter.
