What age is it for?

From the time they can read short sentences, around age 6. The cases go from 5×5 (ages 6 to 8) to 6×6 (ages 9 to 12).

Do you need to know how to play sudoku?

No. One rule is enough: each thing goes with just one person.

Can I use it in class?

Yes. The printable cases can be handed out in the classroom; all we ask is that the website's name stays on them.
