The Halloween pack
Twelve cases in three settings: the haunted mansion, the graveyard and the witches' house. All seven languages come in the same download.
How to play
One per row and per column
No two people can share a row or a column, just like in a sudoku. And nobody stands on a square taken up by furniture: those squares are shaded and out of play.
Each card says where they were
Every suspect signs a card saying where they were: in a room, next to an object, in a row, or beside someone else. What they say is true — except in cases with a liar, and those are flagged at the top. “Next to” means the adjacent square and in the same room: walls cut, even where the squares touch.
Alone with the victim
Place everyone, the victim included. When the plan is full, look at the victim's room: whoever is in there with them is the murderer. There is always exactly one.
Pencil and eraser
Pencil in the letters and cross out whatever is no longer possible.
Questions
Which language is it in?
There is one listing per language — English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Dutch — and each one has the whole pack in that language. The Halloween pack has all seven inside.
Will anything be posted to me?
No. They are PDFs you download right away; nothing physical is shipped.
Can I photocopy it for a class?
The pack is for personal use. For a class, a library or a nursing home there are the free cases on the site, which you may print and hand out freely.
